Young Canadian musician EKKSTACY found an outlet for his inner pain in music. Shaped by personal experiences, including the painful divorce of his parents, subsequent psychological problems and a drug-induced psychosis. With elements of post-punk, synth-pop and new wave, inspired by artists such as Elliott Smith, The Drums and Bon Iver, he tirelessly creates his own version of the Emo genre. Since the release of its highly acclaimed debut album "Misery", EKKSTACY has been on a constant world tour.
