Andrea Stolpe and Gregor Schwellenbach have a lot in common: both are experts in songwriting and arranging, both work in academic contexts, and both have collaborated with renowned artists from Berlin to Nashville—such as Faith Hill, Xatar, and Alligatoah. In 2025, both moved to Switzerland: Stolpe from Los Angeles, Schwellenbach from Cologne.

In conversation with Rachel Harder, the experienced music creators share their experiences of settling in, their perspectives on the local music scene, and delve into their shared passion: songwriting in all its facets.
