Out of all submitted tracks, 61 Selected Artists will make it to the Live Sessions of the Demotape Clinic at the m4music Festival. The Demotape Clinic, acting as a radar for new Swiss music, is one of the most important competitions for emerging artists in Switzerland and has established itself as a key industry platform.
During the live sessions, the Selected Artists receive hands-on tips and practical guidance for their musical careers and have the chance to win FONDATION SUISA Awards worth CHF 3,000 per category. The most promising demos will be awarded on Saturday evening at the Award Show in the five categories Pop, Rock, Electronic, Lyrics & Beats, and Out of Genre.
One newcomer among the five winners will additionally receive CHF 5,000 in prize money for the “Demo of the Year”.
