Bricknasty is one of the hottest newcomer bands from Ireland. What began in 2020 in the north of Dublin as a lockdown studio project has since evolved into a global success. Singer and guitarist Fatboy, drummer Korey Thomas, and bassist Dara Abdurahman were even set to go on a US tour with Irish rappers Kneecap at the end of 2025 – unfortunately, the tour was canceled. The music of this young crew defies any fixed genre: they blend smooth vocals, anarchic grooves, and influences from neo-soul, R&B, hip-hop, and jazz to create a sound that is both wild and deeply soulful – hitting a raw, musical sweet spot.
