With the release of his album Lince in October 2017, the pulse of the times synchronized with the tracks of Stereo Luchs. And by the time of his m4music performance the following March, the Swiss music scene experienced one of its rare collective goosebump moments. Now, the Zurich native returns to this festival as a headliner for one of his first shows after two years of retreat from the public eye. At the same time, this performance will be one of his last before he opens his next chapter with the release of new music. Starting in 2007 in the local reggae and dancehall scene and as a musical sparring partner of Phenomden, Stereo Luchs has continuously evolved with every new project. He has become a defining figure in the scene and the voice of an urban generation. He has always remained true to his distinctive style and language, which make him unmistakable: Stereo Luchs creates mood-infused, razor-sharp images at the musical pulse of the times and has solidified his reputation over the years as an outstanding live act. The winner of the Swiss Music Prize 2025, Stereo Luchs is also active as a songwriter alongside his solo career. He writes not only in Swiss German dialect but also in standard German, and his name appears in the credits of various renowned artists.
