ANDREA STOLPE

Andrea Stolpe is an American educator, author, and former Nashville staff songwriter who now calls Basel home. Her songs have been recorded by artists including Faith Hill, Julianne Hough, and Jimmy Wayne, and she has held songwriter positions at Universal Music Publishing, EMI, and Almo-Irving. She wrote «Popular Lyric Writing: 10 Steps to Effective Storytelling» and created the course «Commercial Songwriting Techniques», part of the Berklee College of Music curriculum. After more than 20 years in the Los Angeles music industry, where Andrea helped shape the Popular Music Program at the University of Southern California, she now works with musicians around the world through in-person retreats and her online school, the EMC Institute, connecting artists across cultures and helping them thrive in a fast-changing music industry.
