Christoph Schmocker (he/him) brings Bern-Mittelland coolness and cheerful zest for life straight to the dance floor. After training in the consumer electronics industry, he suffered a brain hemorrhage at the age of 23. He then worked for 17 years in institutions for people with disabilities before finding his way to the inclusive cultural center Heitere Fahne in 2019. There, he has become a permanent fixture as a moderator, band announcer, DJ, or actor in six productions by the in-house theater company Frei_Raum. With this company, he went on tour (including Kleintheater Luzern, Paula Festival St. Gallen, at.tension Festival Lärz) and most recently performed as the grandfather in Heidi. The premiere took place in November 2025 at Heitere Fahne, now the production is on tour. When the culture enthusiast takes his place behind the decks as DJ Christoph S., theater transforms into pure energy. Whether at "Heitere Silvester" or the legendary "Herzblattshow", his music defies categorization—it’s all about movement. An invitation to dance, let go, and shake off expectations.
