Flo Eichenberger grew up surrounded by art, football, BMX, and the wild nights of the Bernese scene – independent from an early age, eager to experiment, and driven by a desire to push boundaries. After completing a sports apprenticeship as a real estate agent and a brief stint in the office world, he traded his everyday routine for what truly inspired him: art, gastronomy, and nightlife culture. At the age of 19, he founded Les Amis in Bern with friends, initially as a restaurant, then as a club and bar, soon complemented by a wine shop. In 1999, he opened the electro club U1 on Junkerngasse, followed in 2005 by the club Sous Soul. After a 13-year hiatus, Sous Soul reopened in 2025, with Eichenberger as managing director and booker.
