Fränzi Madörin, born in 1963 in Basel, is a co-founder and long-time member of the music performance group Les Reines Prochaines, which she managed until 1999. The artist works at the intersection of music, performance, audio, installation, and composition. In addition, as a trained women’s tailor, she designs costumes for dance, theater, and film, teaches textile design at the FOS secondary school, and is a member of the VIA AudioVideoKunst Basel.
