Prof. Gabriela Muri was the project manager at the Institute for Childhood, Youth, and Family at the Department of Social Work at ZHAW until the end of January 2026. She is also a titular professor at the Institute of Social Anthropology and Empirical Cultural Studies at the University of Zurich. For thirty years, she has been conducting research and teaching on the following topics: event cultures and urban development; leisure and club cultures; spatial development and social inequality; urban event cultures, city perception, public space; children and youth cultures, intergenerationality; visual culture and mediality. Since February 2026, she has been working independently in the fields of architecture, social space, and urban research.
