Gregor Schwellenbach is a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and composer for cinema, TV, radio plays, and theater. He works with rappers (Xatar, Alligatoah, Souly), dance producers (Kölsch, Brandt Brauer Frick), and 'Can' founder Irmin Schmidt, with whom he shares a long-standing artistic partnership. His internationally acclaimed chamber music tribute to the techno label 'Kompakt' was awarded the VIA Indie Award for "Best Experiment." With the program "Six Pianos," he has performed multiple times at the philharmonic halls in Berlin, Cologne, and Hamburg. From 2017 to 2021, Gregor Schwellenbach analyzed current songs weekly on WDR Cosmo radio. At the Folkwang University of the Arts, he played a key role in developing the Master’s program in Popular Music and taught there for eleven years.
