JOHANNA JELLICI

Johanna Jellici is a singer, sound artist, and literary scholar with roots in sound art. Her artistic work spans spatial sound architecture, audiovisual installations, as well as experimental jazz and pop. She has realized projects for institutions and brands such as the German Architecture Museum (DAM), BMW, and the fashion house Akris, and has collaborated as a vocalist with artists like Nina Hagen and the Big Band of Hessischer Rundfunk. Her jazz productions, including the albums Soundfields and Spacetracker, were created in collaboration with SRF. Since 2022, Johanna Jellici has been the head of the Jazz and Pop Department at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Previously, she was part of the leadership team at Jazzcampus Basel, University of Music Basel (FHNW), where she was responsible for the Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy Jazz program.
