Katja Christ is a lawyer, attorney, and partner at BALEX Advokatur & Notariat in Basel. Politically active with the Green Liberals since 2012, she has been Vice President of GLP Switzerland since May 2024. Since October 2019, she has served as a member of the National Council, a.o. working in the Science, Education, and Culture Committee as well as the Judiciary Committee. In 2025, she submitted the motion "National AI Strategy and Roadmap for a Sustainable Switzerland" and advocates for trustworthy AI, research/innovation, and talent development. Privately, she is a passionate dancer.
