HEAD OF THE BACHELOR IN POPULAR MUSIC / URBAN MUSIC PRODUCER, LAUSANNE

YVAN JAQUEMET

With a background in literary studies and a passion for French rap since the 90s, Yvan Jaquemet first developed his skills as a beatmaker under the alias «Yvan Peacemaker». As producer for the Lausanne-Geneva group Double Pact, the release of their debut EP in 1995 on a French label gave him his first foothold in Paris.

From 2000 onwards, music composition and production became his main focus, leading to collaborations with French acts (Booba, JoeyStarr, Diam's, Soprano, Stress and Sniper with «Gravé dans la Roche») and German-speaking artists (Massive Töne, Bushido and others). His work earned him several gold and platinum records.

In 2017, he returned to his academic roots by developing the Music Business programme at SAE Institute Geneva. Since 2024, Yvan Jaquemet has been Head of the Bachelor in Popular Music at HEMU – Haute École de Musique in Lausanne.
