On the occasion of this hackathon, we want to get together and talk about the real challenges and opportunities facing the Swiss jazz scene. Like everything, it is in a state of flux: social media is shining the spotlight on topics such as cultural appropriation, the boundary to pop music is increasingly brittle, and competition for attention is leaving its mark on academies, musicians and labels. How do we tackle these issues together? And what role can m4music play in this?
