Glitch-hop, electro punk and new wave: These are the ingredients from which Rebecca Solari and Pascal Stoll create ecliptic sound universes with their art performance project Crème Solaire. Founded at the Gustav Academy in 2018, the duo leaves a lot of space for experiments and absurdities in their compositions and live performances. Their self-produced album "Bleu, c'est bien", released in 2019, was followed in 2022 by "Pannenstreifen ist ohne pic-nic", an album that not only combines a total of five different languages, but also uses the topic of motorways as a metaphor for a clean, small and accessible Switzerland that consists of too much concrete and is always under construction, thus providing a commentary on how the country sees itself – all created with a punk DIY attitude.
