Angelic vocals, intoxicating melodies, funky guitars and powerful electronic beats – Monte Mai create a sound somewhere between dream pop and electro-protopunk. The psychedelic pop trio was founded in 2020 by Anaïs Schmidt, who grew up on the Caribbean island of Grenada, together with Fabio Besomi and Fabio Pinto. The band live in Lugano, where they have collaborated on songs with, among others, Aris Bassetti (Peter Kernel, Camilla Sparksss, Kety Fusco). Their debut album "Eye Sea Double" will be released on 3 February 2023 on the Swiss independent labels "On The Camper Records" and "Il Domain".
