Massive, deep, angry. Post-punk, prog rock, math rock. Noisy harsh sounds, psychedelic collisions, painstakingly told instrumentation and warm grooves. Monument's sound is so British that you can imagine him sitting and drinking tea with Black Midi and Fontaines D.C. in front of the Speedy Wunderground Studios. Five of the most talented musicians from west Switzerland spent two years working on their debut album "ABYSS". It will be released under trendsetting label Hummus Records (behind the likes of Emilie Zoé, Ester Poly, Peter Kernel) – and is causing quite the stir.
