It's impossible to pigeonhole an artist as busy as Benjamin Amaru. The singer with Swiss and Iranian roots from tranquil Appenzell Ausserrhoden started out in 2018 as a bedroom producer with Lo-fi influences. In the past five years, however, he has come a long way and, thanks to his prolific output, has become one of the most promising up-and-coming Swiss artists with international appeal. However, he always remains modest, approachable and on the lookout for the next exciting project. In 2023 alone, he released three collabo EPs and five new singles; ranging from dreamy, vulnerable pop songs to playful, danceable electro music.
