Fulmine's songs – or perhaps rather works – are many things, but not pleasing. They agitate, creep up stealthily and envelop you in a mystical fog, then become obtrusively intense, flooding our ears with weird synth sounds, only to confuse us again shortly afterwards with harmonies. An experience. The Demotape Clinic saw it the same way last year: the solo project by multimedia artist, performer and part of glitchhop duo "Crème Solaire" Rebecca Solari took home the Out of Genre award.
