"A Place For Self" is the name of Den Dala's latest song, which is about self-care and relaxation. The multi-instrumentalist and producer Andrin Stettler captures the mood of the day in it: right after getting up, he picks up the guitar or sits down at the drums. With spherical sound, which the Zurich radio station GSD.FM once described as "jazz for people who don't like jazz", Den Dala combines strange chords, precise drum playing, woozy echo reverberations and a desire for emptiness. Conceptual work suits the musician, who founded Den Dala in 2019 as a bachelor project. For his first EP "Vegetarian Get Together", which was released in 2020, he invited five musician friends to recording sessions and collaborated on a song with each of them. Andrin Stettler is currently working on his debut album. The singer and guitarist performs live on stage together with Joa Frey (rhythm guitar), Elias Kirchgraber (bass), Pascal Lorenzetti (drums) and Farida Hamdar (percussion).
